Saturday Morning
Having a cup of tea, while the Meowsers plot their escape from the house into the front yard. There are squirrels out there that need to be schooled.

Joy and New Floors
Over the weekend my sugarplums and I (mostly him) put new flooring in our house. Gone is the crappy old stained carpet, replaced by pretty shiney new wood floors. The meowsers were not sure about them at first, taking delicate steps around the perimeter, before venturing onto the surface itself. They learned quickly about the sliding factor and were not nearly as amused as I was. Nonetheless, when the feather toy gets busted out, there is nothing they can do but go for it, sliding around like hockey pucks, joyfully being crazy kitties.

Found
Came upon this skull while meandering some swamp land yesterday. I have no idea what type of animal it comes from, but those teeth look menacing.

My Favorite Things #4
Scarves!

I recently crocheted this scarf out of some beauuutiful hand spun yarn I splurged on. The picture does not do it justice. The scarf is so soft and fluffy, it feels like marshmallow and I think I love it as much as I love marshmallows. (I'm really hungry as I'm typing this, as my sweetie swiped my lunch from the house this morning, leaving me with nothing but an orange for school. Aargh.) Anywho, I love scarves. All I want to do is snuggle myself up in them. Soon I will have that opportunity, as I will be out of Florida and off into a land where the temperature drops belong 70 degrees. I'm crossing my fingers that there will be no unusually warm weather out West this year. It better bebone chilling must wear a scarf at all times cold.
