Mina
Mina is the newest addition to my sister's little family. She is a super sweet schnauzer. I am used to taking pictures of my little meowser, who happily sits by and lets me snap endless photos of her. Mina, on the other hand, has more important things to do, like chew on toys, chase squirrels, and roll around in the grass.

My Thumb is Green
My sugarplums and I planted 3 rose bushes this weekend. So far all of them are still alive and blooming. Hopefully, I will not kill any of them. I am keeping my fingers crossed.
Here are pictures of the blooms from my precious little plants. Hopefully, in the upcoming weeks, I will be able to add a pale baby pink and a blood red rose to the bunch.

Isabel Rose
Some days you just need to stop and smell the roses.
Apparently, Isabel Rose Meowser was aptly named. Whenever cut flowers are in the house, she needs to stop and admire them. Unless its an orchid, in which case it needs to be swatted down like an enemy combatant. Roses, though, are obviously her favorite.

My Favorite Things #2
Margaritas are the most festive of drinks. The best ones are enjoyed with friends in a Mexican restaurant somewhere in NorthWest Georgia on two dollar margarita night. (Although I suspect most people would disagree with me.) Since I no longer live in Georgia, I have to resort to the next best thing. Luckily for me, Larry makes yummy margaritas.
Here is the general recipe:
1 part silver tequila
1 part blue curacao
3 parts sweet and sour mix (the cheaper the mix the better)
1 splash orange juice
Combine ingredients in shaker with ice and shake it. Pour into a glass that does not tip over easily. Enjoy!
