Saturday Morning

Having a cup of tea, while the Meowsers plot their escape from the house into the front yard.  There are squirrels out there that need to be schooled. 

Joy and New Floors

Over the weekend my sugarplums and I (mostly him) put new flooring in our house.  Gone is the crappy old stained carpet, replaced by pretty shiney new wood floors.  The meowsers were not sure about them at first, taking delicate steps around the perimeter, before venturing onto the surface itself.  They learned quickly about the sliding factor and were not nearly as amused as I was. Nonetheless, when the feather toy gets busted out, there is nothing they can do but go for it, sliding around like hockey pucks, joyfully being crazy kitties.
